Today our guest is Claudette Zepeda.

She is an award-winning celebrity chef and culinary entrepreneur.

And just plain old entrepreneur.

If you're tapped into the world of TV cooking competitions, you may have seen Claudette on the

Netflix edition of Iron Chef U.S. and Mexico.

Claudette grew up between Mexico and Southern California, which played a huge part in her approach to

cooking. She spent summers in Guadalajara with her aunt who owned a restaurant and her

aunt was the first businesswoman she'd ever really seen. Growing up in that restaurant deepened Claudette's love for hospitality and Mexican food.
