In the 1970s and 80s, Chichmarin became famous for being one of the goofs from the stoner comedy duo, Chich and Chong.

Hey, I got it. Why don't you get a job, man?

Listen, man, I already got a job. Yeah, what's your job, man. Listen, man, I already got a job.

Yeah, what's your job, man?

Rolling dope.

Yeah, at least a steady work, man.

Something you're good at, man.

But now he's getting recognition for something very different. Collecting art.

Over the years, Chichmerin has quietly collected some 700 pieces and is now known for having one of the most extensive

collections of Mexican American art. He's creating an entire center at

California's Riverside Art Museum called the Chichmaureen Center for Chicano Art, Culture, and Industry.
