it can be really hard to recognize that you're even in it until it gets

to start sharing a passage or two that I think relates to this. This whole time, I'd been walking around with my anger thinking I had a right to be mad,

when really I was just feeling like no one would ever see me as valuable for me.

But I wasn't trying to be sad and wounded.

Being angry was much easier.

Because I wasn't being with myself and checking in.

I had no idea that feelings of worthlessness were at the root of my anger.
