Well, today we're concluding our series Check Your Heart.

Before we jump to that, I just want to say I'm glad you could be with us.

Even those of you who are traveling during the holidays,

if you've gotten roped in by some friends and family that normally are here on a Sunday at our church and you're

joining us today. I want to say welcome to you. If you're here for the first time, we're so glad you came,

but you're kind of coming in at the end of the movie. So I'm going to catch you up in just a second.

But this is a series we kicked off just a few weeks ago, and it's centered

around a single verse.

The primary motivation of the series comes from this admonishment or this encouragement by the wisdom writer,

Solomon in the Proverbs, and he said,

above all else, guard your heart

for everything you do flows from it.

Above everything else, it's sort of to prioritize. Above everything else to prioritize your heart it's almost as if he's saying

the spiritual or the emotional condition of your heart is even more important

than the physical condition of your heart and we said the first week that the heart and the scriptures
