It's an award-winning fiction podcast in the supernatural murder mystery and thriller-slash-horror genres that has received over 4 million downloads across four seasons.

The series follows a coroner with a secret ability to speak to the dead,

and the story is set in a strange and shadowy remote town called Springfield, which has an unusually

high mortality rate. As bodies start piling up in the morgue, coroner and forensic pathologist

John Spacer uses his ability to talk to the dead to help local police

solve the case of the week, while also tracking down clues about a mysterious killer.

Early episodes follow a different case of the week, which built into the overarching

mysteries and secrets of Springfield that John finds himself entangled in, including the hunt

to catch the killer and an investigation

into the dark curse over the town. With the fourth season recently released, a prequel season for the

series is currently in production, following John during his med school days as he learns to navigate
