So let's get started.

Real men are faithful, not foolish.

You know, a friend once told me that there's a fine line between being faithful and being foolish.

Now, when she told me that, she was referring to the fact that as Christians,

we tend to use our faith more as a crutch to lean on rather than a platform to stand on.

Now, you've heard the language of what I call Christianese, right?

When people say stuff like, I'm just waiting to hear from God, I'm praying for my miracle, or I'm just waiting for my change to come.

Now, I'm not saying anything is wrong with saying

those things, but many times we as Christians, not just men, we use waiting on the Lord and

praying in meditation as a justification for mediocrity. Ouch. Now, Ephesians 517 tells us that,

therefore do not be foolish, but understand the will of God.

And see, that's the key.

Understanding the will of God.

But how can we understand the will of God if we're not seeking understanding, let alone seeking his will?

Now, here's a newsflash.

God is not trying to hide his will from us.

In fact, he wants us to do his will more than we do.
