This week we're going to do some listener questions. Let's get right into them.

What's in your fall weekend or bag? If I ever mentioned that I'm a big overpacker, seemingly

every vacation we go on, I just bring far too many things, more than my wife Sally.

Even on vacations when I think I'm trying to be good, we end up with the suitcase that's

difficult to close and towing the 50 pound weight limit every single time we go to the airport.

But if I'm just leaving town for a quick fall weekend, things do get a little more streamlined.

Here's what I would bring with me if I was going out of town this weekend in the middle of fall.

The first item is a Filsen waxed mile marker jacket. It's a jacket that I've had for almost

5 years now and it's only getting better with age. It's versatile but a little heavy so it's not

the most convenient thing to pack. It's good for various weather conditions and it's really,

really durable. This is probably something I just toss on when I walk out the door rather than

actually putting it inside my weekend or bag, but I'm packing it nonetheless.

The next thing would be a Patagonian Nano Puff Pullover. It's light, warm and easy to pack and

you barely even notice that it's in the bag. It's the perfect layer when you need to just toss

something on and go about your day whether you're running errands, just grabbing a coffee,

or just hanging out and having some beers outside on a patio. Another is a dark sweater or maybe

two dark sweaters. These are for dinners or just kind of nicer occasions. Dark is perfect for

traveling in a weekend or bag because if you just cram it in there, it's kind of not as noticeable

if something's wrinkled or a little tattered and it's just better for stains overall anyway.

I also bring a Black Tea, a Navy Tea and a Grey Tea shirt. I like to have a variety so there's

something for every occasion. It doesn't look like I'm just wearing the same thing over and over,
