So what got you interested in interior design in the first place?

Well, I spent most of my career in advertising, doing TV commercials, and different things like that.

So I've always been working kind of with sets and

designs and storytelling in that sense. And what really got me was in 2007, I was on HGTV as a

homeowner. So really? It was so fun. It was so fun. It was called Freestyle. And it was kind of one of their like

design on a dine shows. And I wasn't the designer. I was the homeowner. It was the first house that I

owned. And they, um, the production company put out, uh, kind of a call for entries. And they chose me in my little Minneapolis home.
