0:20.2	2021 stand up for your country. Derek Chavin-Gildy, as we predicted here and we say it with
0:28.1	no joy, he will go to prison for at least 10 years, between 10 and 15 I am predicting.
0:35.1	It's guilty on three counts, second degree murder, third degree murder, manslaughter. And there was
0:41.9	no data in my mind that would happen. The former Minneapolis police officer made a huge mistake
0:48.6	and so did his attorneys by not taking the stand and looking the jury in the eye and explaining
0:54.3	why he did what he did to George Floyd. That was I just I always try to put myself in the position
1:03.9	of the person I'm reporting on I just can't imagine. And Chavin and his lawyers had to know that
1:12.1	with the videotape and the severity of the case was a very slim chance of acquittal and the only
1:21.4	chance was for Derek Chavin himself to try to convince the jury of his intent and his actions,
1:28.0	but he did not. And so he is now guilty. It was a fair trial and I applaud a judge Peter
1:36.0	Cahill. I thought he did a very good job. But most of all, the 12 members of the jury are heroes.
1:45.0	And yeah, imagine how hard that was to do that because most Americans, they don't want to destroy
1:51.8	the life of a police officer no matter how irresponsible. I don't want to do that. And then to look
1:59.7	at the family of George Floyd in the courtroom every day, to hear the horror that was wreaked upon
2:06.6	that man. Yes, yes, he was flawed. He was a drug addict, a low level criminal, but he's a human being.
2:14.7	And in our system, all life is valuable in our American system. And so the trial now comes to an end.
2:27.3	It took the jury just 10 hours to find Mr. Chavin guilty of all three counts. He is now in prison.
2:34.2	Bell has been revoked. There will be appeal. I assume his lawyers are will appeal, but the
2:40.9	appeal is not going to overturn. I mean, it's just too strong case. And his lawyers were not very good.
2:46.6	The lawyers really not very good. I didn't see anything there that impressed me. Now,
2:52.6	the social implications of this are amazingly big for this country. So the anti-American movement
