You know, it's not always easy to like find that or like, or connect back to your younger

self or what you were like, your true self, right?

But like, I don't know, when you like, you know, do a little bit of work and, you know,

try to experiment and just kind of try different things at works and figure out what doesn't

work.

You know, you can, you like, I don't know, you get closer and closer to that, whatever that

is, that thing that lights you up, and, you know, I think about that a lot, like, what

lights you up, what makes you feel alive, what makes you like, I don't know, like, forget

about, yeah, like the worries, the money, the adulting stuff.

That was artist and mirror list, rejoite armamento.

Rejoite says that she's always been interested in art, ever since she was a kid, but that

it took her a while to reconnect with it in a serious way as an adult.

As she got older, her attraction and affinity for it was stifled by feelings of ambivalence

about whether being an artist was a realistic occupation.

That was until she went to college in San Francisco, which she describes as a formative experience

that reintroduced her to art.

She says that she loves the sense of movement that comes with the energy of an active city,

and it's that same energy that is present in her murals and in her art.

Today, she's able to look back on her childhood and realize that she's always been the person

that she knew she was.

She's always been an artist.
