If you don't know me, my name is Wade Joy. I'm the worship pastor here at the church

and I have the incredible honor and privilege to preach and bring God's words to you this

weekend. I am excited. So are you ready for the work?

Yes.

All right. I'm ready to preach. Here we go. We're going to be in Philippians chapter 4 for our

short time together. This is verse 6 to 13. It says this, stay standing. Do not be anxious

about anything, but in every situation by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present

your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard

your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Now, family, brothers and sisters, whatever

is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,

whatever is admirable. If anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things.

Whatever you've learned or received or heard from me or seen in me, put it into practice.

And the God of peace will be with you. I've rejoiced greatly in the Lord that it last

you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity

to show it. And I'm not saying this because I am in need for I've learned to be content

whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need. I know what it is to have

plenty. I've learned the secret of being content in any and every situation where they're

well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him

who gives me strength. So the title of the message that God's given me for our church
