Summary

It's another Friday Mount Buckmore episode on Buckeye Talk as Doug Lesmerises, Nathan Baird and Stephen Means squeeze in two position groups this time. Defensive ends and cornerbacks are debated, with each of the guys picking their four players for each spot, and the text subscribers casting their votes as well. The defensive ends are first and pretty fun. The cornerbacks are second and more of a grind, though not as difficult as Doug feared. Quarterbacks, running backs and receivers were done on previous episodes, and it was time to get to the defensive side of the ball. Next week -- linebackers. Lamarice, Steven Means, Nathan Baird. Usually I'm not sick to my stomach until we're about 10 minutes into the

0:41.2

podcast and I see where it's going. It's not a good sign that you're starting off

freezing. I'm so nervous. I'm so I'm so nervous. It does, I feel like all the kids out there,

0:52.7

tall the kiddos, you know, we do we know we have a younger demographic or for part of our Buckeye

talk audience. If you're in school, right, you have those moments where you're walking to school,

1:03.0

you know, you have a test coming up or they drop a test on, you weren't expecting or feel like

1:06.9

you didn't study enough and yeah, that not in your stomach, you know, that gets better. Hopefully

1:13.7

you find a job in life where you don't have to have that not in your stomach all the time. And

1:17.7

frankly, you know, blathering on podcasts, I don't have it most of the time, but that's the not I have.

1:21.8

I have the tests not Nathan, I have the God, I don't know how this is going to go. I don't know

1:27.3

if my answers are right and I'm worried that the listeners are going to slide it back with like a

1:32.6

nice like 61 big big D for big D on this test and that that's why I feel sick because I'm nervous

1:40.7

about about getting this wrong mostly related to the cornerbacks because it is really a really

1:47.0

difficult and you know, some people might say, Doug, it's it's it's literally a college football

1:53.0

podcast. What are you doing? But this matters to us, doesn't it? We're staking our thoughts on

1:59.1

history here. It does matter to us, but I almost felt if to use your test analogy, I felt like a

2:06.7

like fourth grader being sent to take a calculus exam a little bit. It's just like I can't like

2:13.0

you can't possibly expect me to pass this test. I'll do the best I can, but it's it's not going to

2:18.0

happen. I came to two conclusions as I was doing this last night. We're recording this on Thursday

2:24.7

and I was doing this Wednesday night. Defensive line wasn't as hard as I thought it would be
