Dogs didn't make a sound. And as soon as I hit that record button, they went bolting to the front door. Yeah, I mean, one laser beer in the corner, they were completely quiet, and then boom, they take off and run off. And I get mad, and I start yelling at them. And I do this all the time, because, I mean, obviously I work from home. But I tell you, and I didn't think we were going here because it's a little bit of a pressing topic, but, you know, my Australian Shepherd is 13 years old. And, you know, I thought that, you know, he was close to gone several times. He's got a bunch of those kind of like fatty tumors on him. I don't think they're cancerous. I don't think they're malignant just as you get older and the dog gets older and things happen. But he's got like this hacking cough thing. And a couple days ago, Kara was like, hey, he really couldn't breathe a couple mornings ago. Like it took a minute for him to kind of like hack it up and clear whatever's in his throat. And, you know, I wrote about him last baseball season, I guess, and talked about how he, at that point, it turned 12. And we were getting close and close and close. And I get it because, you know, you do the math. I mean, I got him, I guess Karen and I had been married three, four months when we got him, something like that, move with us several times.

Everybody has their dog stories. I'm not acting like I'm special in that way. But he's so loud, and he's not really even that good of a dog, but he's like my dog. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I appreciate everything about him, even though he's kind of a shit hit. And he's kind of a problem most of the time. but when I come in,
