I was going to say it's the Eric Mataxis show, but actually,

I'm not so sure about that, because Charlie Kirk is my guest. He's sitting right here. He's not

that tall in person. And he really wanted to interview me for his show. And I thought,

is it possible since we don't have a lot of time for me to interview him on my show and him to interview me on his show? And we're not sure, but we're

going to try. We'll simultaneously do this, Eric. Is that what the word is simultaneously? We'll both be interviewing each other. Really? All right, Charlie, why don't you go first? All right, Eric, have you ever written a book?

You know, I do, I write books now, and I got to say that I have, I'm excited because I told the story of my coming to faith in the book that's out now. And I've wanted to write it for years. I thought, am I ever going to get to this, but I finally wrote it. Fish out of water. You and I have talked about it, so we're not going to talk about it now, but it's called Fish Out of Water Search for the Meaning of Life, and at the end, I get to the Jesus

part.

So it's a book I really wrote for people to give to their smart friends who won't read a Christian

book.

But I have a book out in a couple of months called Is Atheism Dead, which is a take on the...

Nietzsche?

Well, yes, but it's a take on the, you know, the Time magazine article 1966 is God dead.

And my thesis is that in 1966, all the evidence kind of pointed to the idea that, yeah, God's probably not a good idea

anymore, and science has disproved God and better day. And I say that was the high watermark

of that kind of evidence. And since then, the evidence has been moving in the other direction,

but most people don't know it because the cultural narrative got stuck in the 1966.

God's, you know, another kind of thing.

We're not going to get into that anymore.

So for 50 years, we've kind of been moving on that.
