John Kennedy was assassinated?

The memories are there.

Another generation would say they know when they heard about the space shuttle or 9-11.

There are moments in history that you have to stop and say, well, that intersected me at a very deep level, emotionally and

mentally, and I can remember it. Don't remember everything else that year, but I remember that day.

And that's today. That's what many of you are experiencing, especially those you that are Christians.

I realize my audience is a little bit older than the youth that are in Charlie Kirk's world,

but perhaps this message will reach out to them too.

As Charlie Kirk, I heard today was shot, and then I went on the air as I would always do

and pray and pray and try to encourage people to believe.

And then when the news came that he had

passed, I felt the responsibility to come back on for you, to help you process this.

I remember at 9-11, my friend Mark Sharona was on television. I don't know what station he was on, but he was called upon to have to say something about it.

And he said something which I think is important.

He said, make sure that you understand what happened, but don't misunderstand what happened.

Don't make something out of it that isn't true.

And I think that it's my responsibility now.

The movement that Charlie Kirk epitomized, as one person said,

they said, Charlie's remarkable in that he fuses Rush Limbaugh with Billy Graham.

He's not only able to speak to the conservative movement in the young generation and speak in the
