I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

Besides the main topic today, which, of course, is the manhunt of the shooter of Charlie Kirk and the manhunt being underway, we also must acknowledge that today is 9-11, 2025.

A full 24 years after this horrific attack on our country occurred.

And we, the people that do this show, myself Phil Grimaldi, Mike Gehry,

were all first responders and we all know numerous people that lost their lives on that day,

as well as nearly, well, we don't know the 50,000 people that lost their lives on that day, as well as nearly, well, we don't know

the 50,000 people that are suffering from 9-11 ailments, but we acknowledge them.

And many more have died from horrific 9-11 diseases like cancers that they've never seen before.

And I think it's important that we as NYPD acknowledge it and we always like to

use the Latin term Fidelis Ed Mortum, which stands for faithful until death. Because surely all of

us that responded that day had no qualms about risking our lives to save our fellow citizens, our fellow first responders,

and we all did it without a second thought.

I don't want to just gloat in this.
