Awesome to welcome Georgia Southern head coach Charlie Henry to the basketball podcast.

Henry enters his third season as the head men's basketball coach of Georgia Southern.

The Eagles improved by eight wins during the 2024-25 season,

winning their first round game in the Sunville tournament as the nine seed.

During his first season at the helm, Henry guided the Eagles to an 8 and 10 record in the

Sun Belt play and a quarterfinal appearance in the Sun Belt tournament for the third

consecutive season. Before Georgia Southern, Henry spent four seasons at the University of Alabama

and has over 10 years of coaching experience on three major levels of basketball, NBA, G-League, and

Division I Power 5 schools, including stops with the Chicago Bowls, Windy City Bowls, and Iowa State,

among others.
