Charlie Gamek runs a saddle in Ironmongry Business in Aberlower.

We're standing on the pavement in the village of Aberlour,

looking quite longingly inside a shop.

Once upon a time, not that terribly long ago in Scotland's history,

horse power meant literally just that.

Our agriculture, quite a lot of our industry, quite a lot of transportation,

was actually driven by horses

and to work horses you need tack, you need saddlery.

So we've come to meet a guy, Charlie Gammock, who's something of a legend in the industry.

Yeah, just looking at his shop, a lovely old sign, hand-painted, sadler and ironmonger established 1857.

And we've been told to come round the back of the place

because that's where the workshop is.
