Radical is a loaded word.

It's thrown around by political parties to divide voters, wielded by media to get clicks,

and leveraged by the powers that be to demonize anyone who challenges the status quo.

When I use the word Radical in this audiobook, I don't mean it to could note a particular

political standpoint.

However, this book certainly is political, in that it is unabashedly queer, intersectionally

feminist, anti-racist, anti-capitalist, environmentalist, and invested in creating better, more

equitable, more sustainable, more liberated futures for us all.

As Black feminist activist and poet Audrey Lorde so famously said, the spiritual is

political.
