Welcome back to Kid Short Stories. Today's story comes from one of our listeners, Charlie.

Hey Charlie! Charlie left a review on our Apple Podcasts and he has a really cool idea for a story.

Let's go! Charlie was another member of the Spy Kids team.

He was really smart and could always figure out the hardest clues.

And so they always sent him the hardest challenges and the hardest bad guys to catch.

One day, while he was home with his spy kitty, whose name was Big Kitty, they got a message that there was a really bad

guy in their neighborhood, a bad guy that drove a super fast car and was really hard to catch. Charlie knew that his big

kitty had a secret power. You see, big kitty was, looked like a normal cat, was like black and brown with some white

on it.

But this kitty could transform into a lion, like a real lion from Africa. Oh my gosh. Wow that is a cool cat. And so Charlie knew that maybe since this bad guy was in a really fast car, that his cat, Big Kitty, could transform

into a lion and chase him down to catch him.

That sounded like a great plan. They read the rest of the message that

described what this bad guy did and this bad guy, oh man, he would steal everyone's basketballs.

Oh, man, Charlie loved playing basketball.

And so did all his friends in the neighborhood.

And so he knew this was very important

to catch this bad guy,

because if he came in their neighborhood and took all their basketballs, that would be terrible.

So, the plan was he was going to put two of the basketballs in the front yard and have his big kitty sitting right behind a bush and it was

still a kitty he was going to wait for it to transform into a real lion.

And so as the hours ticked by, tick, talk, tick, talk,
