So, Charles, I want to talk to you about a lot of things.

Obviously, the geopolitical situation is very significant at the moment with everything that's going on in Israel and the prospect that it could spread further. And I want to ask you all about that. But I always like to begin

these podcasts with giving you a chance to sort of share because a lot of people have been

watching you for years, but they might not know about your background. So give us a little

sense of where you come from and what your frame of

references for looking at the economy and the world. All right. Well, it's a great question.

I got to start the childhood like everybody else. So Martha, I had two childhoods. I was born in New York

and my father joined the army right right as I was being born.

And so I was an Army brat for 12 years, the first 12 years of my life.

And it was absolutely amazing.
