Welcome to our Monday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth. This is going to be a very special

broadcast not only today, but all week long. And I have as my guest on my program today,

Carrie Pickett, who is the executive vice president of our ministry,

her and her husband. And they run all of our Bible colleges around the world. And for those of you

that don't know Carrie, she was a missionary in Russia for 16 years. She graduated from Carrey's,

came here when you were straight out of high school. Straight out of high school.

So I had just, just turned 19 and came, I think I was the fourth class ever for Carus Bible

College.

So it was a little different back then.

It was completely different.

How many people did we have in class when you were there?

I think in my class we had started off with about 30, 35, so we were the largest class at that time after four years of the school.

But it was life-changing.

Two years life-changing, graduated, and knew I was called to the mission field.

And you know, one of the things that I love about her testimony, I've heard her say this, that she, when she came to Caris, she walked in the back door,

which our facility was not impressive if you walked in the front door. But if you walked in the

back door, it was even less impressive. Yes. And yet when you walked in, the Lord told you.

Yeah, he said your relationship with this ministry will be lifelong. And I had no idea

coming in that I would eventually go over and represent as a missionary to help plant the Carous

Bible College there in Russia. And eventually after Mike and I got married, we planted the Andrew

Weel Mic Ministries of Russia and then had no idea
