the Cleveland Browns. He was a 20-23 pro bowler. He has 384 career receptions, over 4,000 yards receiving 34 career TDs. The Chargers opened up their season, hosting Arizona on September 13th. We are joined right now by David and Joku. David, good to have you on the show. How you doing, dude? I'm doing great, Jim. How you doing? Good, good. Really good to see you. And good to have you out here in Cali. All right, so let's talk about that for a minute. After being a first round pick of the Browns in 2017, you spent your entire career there. So I'm curious, what is your mindset as you get ready to play for another franchise for the first time and begin the next chapter

of your career.

Yeah, well, for starts, the weather is pretty nice over here.

You know, Cal is not too shabby.

And I'm just excited for the opportunity.

So you met with the Chargers after the NFL draft.

Obviously, to talk about that opportunity.

I'm curious, what were your biggest takeaways from that visit? And then ultimately, what were the biggest reasons for deciding to join this team as a free agent? Yeah, I mean, personally, I think they have a great, well, we have a great team here. You know what I mean? Great quarterback. Just a great franchise. So I'm just really excited for the opportunity. I'm really excited just to get back out there and have some fun. Bro, you got to get used to we, right? You were now we. It's no longer they. You are now a we. David and Joku joining us. You mentioned quarterback. What's interesting about that is because you spent eight years with Cleveland, hey, look, you spend eight years anywhere. You're going to have a lot of relationships.

You're going to build at the same time. They didn't win a lot of games. I bring this up.

You played for 17 different or with 17 different starting quarterbacks. It's not going to be

an issue here in L.A. with Justin Herbert, but is a tight end?

What was that like?

Yeah, so I'm going on year 10. So this is my, so I was with them for nine years of Brown. My bad. All right. No, it's all good. It was, it was interesting. I mean, just had to do whatever we could to try to win, you know what I mean? and whatever that consisted of was having, you know, said amount of quarterback.
