Well, I'm excited because today we are starting part two of our charged-up series.

And this is something that God has given and He wants to be given to His people.

So right now I want you to get out your notebooks or your phones.

And you know that in this series, we are making a comparison or using a metaphor or symbolism of our cell phones

and how we have to stay charged up.

And I just want to say this very clearly that this series is about devotion.

This series is about the thing that we are as a society not very consistent on when it comes to God.

Devotion has three components that we learned last week.

When you're devoted to something, you love it, you're loyal to it and you're enthusiastic about it.

There's a lot of things that we love that we're loyal to and we're enthusiastic about.

And many times the first one is not God.

Let's just be honest.

In the society that we live in today, it kind of tells you if God is just in the pot, your meal is going to be okay.

You know what I'm saying? It's kind of like they treat God like lorries.

Some of you all know what lorries are. The lorries is. It's a seasoning.

It don't matter how nasty the food is.

You just douse it with the little lorries.

It should be okay.
