first time in history a former American president now faces arrest. He's charged

with breaking campaign finance and accounting rules in the run up to the 2016

election. Accusations he firmly denies. In a statement Mr. Trump called the

indictment political persecution and election interference at the highest

level in history. He went on to describe himself as a completely innocent

person. Mr. Trump supporters who gathered outside his Mar-a-Lago home seemed

to agree. What they're doing to him right now is only strengthening his base.
