If we can't take charge of this most personal aspect of our lives, we can't take care of anything.

I just know that people were like, it's hard.

I mean, I didn't have kids until I was 36, and I think I was just either smart or the universe just, you know. I mean, I didn't have kids until I was 36 and I think I was just either smart or the

I remember like getting ready during the day and like, you know, in the morning and trying to get

out the door and like, how the hell am I going to have kids and like, how would I do this? Like, you know, like I can't even get myself together, much less like two kids. But I do it.

It's kind of, it's kind of hard. It's difficult.

Ciaris candor is so refreshing.

But I think the thing that sticks out the most for me

is that she's at one with her decision to wait to become a mom.

There's so much peace in her statement.

And it's clear that this is something she spent a lot of time thinking about,

a decision she had been careful to make.

And the thing is,

not everyone wants to have kids by 35, or in their 20s, or at all, for that matter. And then there's some folks like Sierra, well, sometimes they just need some extra time to ease into the idea

and decide if and when they're ready to become a parent when it feels right

to them. And so Ciara put her trust in the universe. After all, it was the spirits that urged her

to pack up and leave her hometown of Los Angeles to head for the mountains of Hilo, Hawaii back in
