Chapter 8, the Quidditch World Cup.

Oh, man. One of the occasions within the wizarding world that is just so scarcely left out of

the film adaptation. Oh my gosh. This is, I cannot, first of all, went upon reading the books for the first time when, like,

our dad was reading us the books. Yes. They got to the end of Prisoner of Asgaband, and they're

like, oh, you have to come next summer. You can't miss the Quidditch World Cup, Harry. You can't, or whatever.

And I remember from that moment being so excited for this exact chapter for like a year.

Yeah.

So like honestly, when we got to this chapter, this time I was like, I'm so excited.

I remember looking forward to this chapter forever.

And then subsequently looking forward to it in the movie.

And boy, boy, oh boy, was I disappointed by the movie's portrayal of the cordet

court of court court court court court court cup which is to say it's not in there at all it's not in

there at all i mean it's like and they even they even go through the whole fuss of like i mean which

they have to do because obviously like plot reasons and stuff but like of them of them getting

there of them doing the tents and and all that type of stuff.

You know, there's like, there's, there's some amount of the magical immersion that I want from

this era. But then, like, Ludo Bagman is left out. And they're like, the, the seats that Arthur has are,

like, not good seats. Right. Compared to, like, this whole idea of them having like prime tickets
