And they're everywhere today. Books, movies, TV shows, and come on. Nearly every podcast

series these days, including this one, is a true crime story. There are even true crime

podcasts that talk about other true crime podcasts.

You know why I think we like detective stories? Because sometimes they're real. They can

happen. Sometimes there really is a detective who comes along, cracks open the case, and

brings some order to our very messy world. And well, that's about to happen in this story.
