Summary
Olly Stone grew up in Europe obsessing over motocross mechanics β not riding, wrenching. He taught himself on two-strokes, polished his spokes at 3am watching GPs from Japan and Australia, and eventually earned his way to America. Pro Circuit. Justin Barcia. Austin Faulkner. Then team principal of the Troy Lee Designs GasGas program β until KTM pulled the budget overnight and ten years of work disappeared with a phone call.
Now he's back. New team. New facility. And it's moving faster than even he expected.
In Chapter 402, Olly breaks down what it actually takes to survive as a European mechanic in American moto, what made Mitch Payton's Pro Circuit the standard for everyone else, the brutal reality of how factory programs end, and the new program he's building from scratch β including a shop in Corona and a riding facility in Florida that's already turning heads.

| 0:14.0 | They were good in the GPs and they didn't make it in the US. |
| 0:17.0 | There is something to that whole experience. TK would always talk to me and he was the manager of Troy League KTM at the time and he's like, I want European mechanics. He's like, who do you know that would come over? He goes, I want like mud skills. I want mud prep. Just to broaden his knowledge of what goes on over there. He came up through Europe, wrenching for teams in the GPs and learning the sport in some |
| 0:38.2 | of its toughest conditions before earning an opportunity in America at Pro Circuit. Because that was |
| 0:43.7 | the year, Dino left to go do his 450 programs, so he took Paul Perabinos with him. Bagot's guy, |
| 0:49.2 | and went to Guy Cuc. So they lost two mechanics that one year. That's like double my chances. |

| 1:11.6 | Then it all disappeared when KTM pulled the budget and the team folded. |
| 1:15.6 | Ten years of being at the top of the sport as a top mechanic, crew chief, to then just not have a job. |
| 1:20.6 | Yeah, yeah. So obviously they don't care about resumes. So that sucked. Like it just showed me that the industry is kind of ruthless. |
| 1:26.6 | Now after watching one chapter of his career come to an end, |
| 1:30.1 | Ollie has bet on himself once again, |
| 1:32.4 | joining MX6 Racing as team manager with a mission to build a privateer team |
