Summary

Chapter 34: Fire and Rim Stones. It's 2nd September 2019 and as the world burns, so incredibly does my field and quite a lot of stuff around it. Not the stones though. They are impervious. It's an action packed stone clearing, only slightly spoiled by the first 20 minutes of the podcast failing to record again. After so many hallucinations on the field can it be true that there were firemen, a fire engine and burned decking? And is it inappropriate that Richard is jocular about the devastation and delighted that a small amount of ploughing designed to stop the out of control flames has thrown up a bumper crop of stones? You will never have heard such an eventful stone clearing podcast, even if you've listened to every episode of every stone clearing podcast in the world. I expect the mouse got cremated too.

1:07.1	Someone had crashed into the garage next to my garage on Friday and severed a gas main and nearly

1:18.3	a field on fire there was fire engines the street hello wolfie it's good that you come because

1:30.7	And so I thought, well, I'll head up there to see what's happened.
1:33.1	And, you know, I'll take my travel and see what's going on.
1:38.0	And sure enough, there was a fireman on the field.
1:41.4	There was a fire engine on the field as well as one on the street.
1:48.9	And all sorts of stuff was going on, but also they ploughed a furrow around the edge of the field as I discovered when I talked to a lady who's not on the podcast because it didn't
1:52.6	record to try and stop the fire getting out.
1:55.7	It was setting fire to basically everything at the side.
1:58.2	I thought just minorly, but you'll see as things go on, it gets a bit
2:01.2	worse than that. I may have to cut bits out, as had quite long conversations through people.
