Rusty Quill presents

The arena was a mess. Some of the buildings had collapsed in on itself and several large

fires were burning along the right side. But most of it still looked intact. There were

shell casings in some spots, large pools of blood in others. One thing I couldn't find

was any bodies. The whole area looked like a bus. That is, until I wandered towards

one of the blast sites where I saw a flip truck with the doors wide open.

What the hell? I found a map shoved in the center console. It showed a winding path that

started at the strip mall and ended at the arena. I knew it. I found your fires.

The map didn't say exactly. There are a few pen marks along the other roads.

Come on, give me more than that.

Ah, someone lost their lunch. Gross. Give me something, you pieces of it.

And then I saw it. Lizzie's bag. I recognized it from the strap. It broke a few weeks ago, so

I fixed it with a zip tie. She didn't want a new one. I thought this one was lucky.
