I hope you're having a great holiday season. You're going to have to forgive the

brevity of this particular update, but it is in between holidays. And this is even when most of

the most ardent podcasters don't have something up, so forgive me. I'm having fun. I'm pretty deep in my Christmas cheer, as it were.

And I'm just going to make this a real quick update. We're between, of course, the big holidays.

And so I just want to say, happy holidays to you no matter what happened, what you celebrate, or what's going to happen

down the pike.

I just want you to know a couple of things from the bottom of my heart.

First off, thank you so much to anyone who's stuck with me throughout the last couple of years.

I am out of that long, deep depression, and it feels really, really, really good.

Number two, even if you liked me before I fell into that rut, let me tell you something.

I am feeling fucking fantastic about the work I'm doing. It's never

been as fun as it's feeling now. It's true, and I hope it's coming through in some way.

I have never had the focus for it, the energy, or the self-appreciation, and some of you are

sending in words of praise and all of that good stuff.
