I have to admit, it has not been the easiest to try and shake things off this October,

but I keep doing so.

And I'm very proud of where I'm at right now.

It's nothing big, but I'm working on projects, and I'm playing dumb new card games, and I'm experimenting.

The cat curls up with me every single day and every single night, and we snuggle.

Life is pretty simple these days.

I really want to get a couple of projects, bigger projects done before the end of the year.

And that's nice.

I've been cooking, but nothing special.

I've been dining on the swine in because it was cheap.

Looks like it's about the end of that.

It's good.

It's good.

For Thanksgiving this year, it's just me, but I think I'm going to do a proper

actual meal, which means I've come a really long way because a couple years ago I just had a

couple of turkey pot pies for Thanksgiving. And now I'm planning on doing a whole duck and I'm

going to take out the organs and I'm going to make gravy from scratch because I know how to make a good rue with the flour and all that.

You know, I'm going to make rolls. I'm going to make green beans and cranberries because I don't like cranberry sauce. It's too sweet.
