Greetings, gentle listeners.

I don't know if you all remember, but months ago now, somebody left a moldy box of cassette tapes on my doorstep.

I wasn't sure what to make of them at first.

Were they a weird prank?

An interactive art piece?

Literal garbage?

Curiosity got the best of me though, and together, here on the podcast, we began listening to the tapes.

It turned out to be a strange local access radio show called Wizard About Town,

hosted by a guy that refers to himself as Wizard Oak. He's interviewed a ton of the local

citizens from their small town of Hazel Grove. Those citizens have included, uh, let me pull out my notes real

quick, a, uh, ghost shoe cobbler named Norman, a Talking Raven named Broderick, a Cyclops

florist named Hugo, uh, Bloody Mary, I think, and none other than Maurice, the

barter fairy. I've tried asking Maurice if they remember anything about Wizard Oak and Hazel Grove,

but they don't. It's honestly been such a whirlwind of events ever since Maurice exploded at the top of the

Hollywood sign.

And there were those mermaids that try to eat me, and I've been working a lot with Victor,

strictly professional.

We just spend a lot of nights at the local library trying to find information about my house.

Sometimes we talk about stuff.

Anyways, I thought we were all along over to a wizard about town tape.
