And as Fall sets in, as Autumn arrives, Halloween is just around the corner.

And we're kicking it off with Dark Knight of the Scarecrow.

Yeah, this is a real harvesting spook.

And I see it come up a lot of times on lists.

But you really gotta look for it because it's normally down there, the very bottom.

Like, oh, and there's this little maid for TV movie from 1981.

You should probably check it out. It was pretty okay.

I'd seen it forever. And I don't think either of us had ever watched it before.

I've never finished it.

No. And what a darn shame.

Yeah, it's a blast. And you know, made for TV movies.

They get short shrift because they, you know, in an era where we were getting Jason Voorhees hacking off heads,

ripping off arms, splitting people in half, you couldn't show that kind of stuff on television.

So it's almost a completely different way of filmmaking because you have to shoot around Gore.
