stories to save trans lives. Astrology is an ancient tool of self-discovery and cosmic connection.

So it's no surprise that for many trans people, it offers a language to understand who we actually are and where we might be going.

In fact, throughout human history, trans and queer people were seen to be instrumental to understanding the link between the stars and humanity.

And in this world that we're in right now, that is increasingly chaotic and unpredictable,

especially for our community, the popularity and use of astrology seems to be more popular than ever.

So today I'll be digging into what role the planets and the rest of the cosmos play

in helping us navigate transitions and liberation, as well as to serve as a tool for

empowerment, affirmation, and healing.

First, world-famous astrologer, Channy Nicholas, stops by to discuss what astrology actually is and isn't.

And she lends her preeminent skills to do a live reading of my own birth chart.

So we know that because you're ruled by Mars, you're a warrior.

You're a fighter.

You're somebody who's like, all right, give me a mission and I'll go in and I'll make sure I get the job done.

Then I'm joined by astrologer, Michael J. Morris, who talks through the intimate connection between trans identity and astrology.

And I think as queer people, as trans people, finding some sort of language or practice that acknowledges and recognizes that breadth and depth of complexity, I think, can feel really affirming.

You know, I've learned over time to realize that my transness shows up in waves, in chapters, in phases.

It's telling a story. It's not just the static thing that I'm embodying.

The nature of the planet's cyclical movement evokes the same energy throughout the life. There will be moments in time where, you know, on an astrological level, perhaps my Leo Mars is what's being more stimulated.
