later on. But first, I want to talk about the passing of Larry Allen, the Hall of Fame Guard

for the Dallas Cowboys. And joining me to talk about that, another former guard, another

former NFL offensive lineman is Jeff Schwartz. Jeffff how are you sir well you send me a video

because this is going to this is going to be fun to watch um because i mean obviously two hall

of famers the top of their game and all these clips,

pretty incredible to watch, you know, two guys like this play against each other.

Yes, two Hall of Famers, Warren Sapp entering the prime of his career, Larry Allen, still in his.

I mean, let's start with sort of like contextualizing Larry Allen. Obviously, you know,

someone I knew of as a child. I feel like we're pretty similar in terms of like, you know,

you didn't know you were going to be an NFL offensive linemen when you were a kid,

but just like, you know, as you came up through the ranks,

as you became a college lineman, as you enter the NFL towards the tail end of Larry Allen's

career, you know, what did you see? What did you hear about Larry Allen? How did people who pay

close attention to offensive linemen talk about Larry Allen? Well, he's going to start with Madden, right?

With John Madden, the way he talked about those, those Cowboys offensive lines. I mean, that was

always what I remember, right? It was like he just, that was his thing for years, not even the

lines that, you know, that Alan, he didn't play on on the famous ones, right? Like the Super Bowl

winning ones, but he played on on the next iteration of like the super bowl winning ones but he played on

on the next iteration of those offensive lines and i just remember the attention that john madden

always paid towards the offensive line that that's how i started sort of paying attention to
