Well, we're about to find out as Dr. Evans helps us discover when and why the Lord chooses to be flexible.

In 2 Kings, chapter 20, we hear the cries of a man.

He's asking for another shot at life.

It's Hezekiah's crisis moment.

Because verse 1 says, in those days, Hezekiah became mortally ill.

And Isaiah came to him and said, thus said, the Lord, set your house in order for you shall die in that lift.

In other words, we have a terminal situation.

Hezekiah, we're told in verse 2, turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord.

Now, you have to follow this.

He's in an irreversible situation.

This can't be fixed.

What's his problem? His problem is death.

He's dying.

Probably as somebody had a day dying.

That may not be physical.

Maybe you're emotionally dead.
