Thank you for having me, Doug. We love having you. Former Met Senior Director of Baseball

Ops, former Braves Assistant GM. We'll get into how that's particularly relevant in just a little bit. But we haven't

spoken to you in a while, and it strikes me that mid-season, we talked a lot about what the

Mets goal should be and how each and every year, it seems they're in it until they're out of it,

and then they don't do the full sell job they trade

away some pieces we talked a lot of the trade deadline about the comps on this roster to trading j bruce

or trading addison read etc etc yep now that it's september and the games still matter

how do you view that storyline of the Mets don't sell? Why don't

they start over? Are you applauding this organization right now from where you stand for standing

Pat, for adding Marcus Stroman and seeing if whether they make the wild card or not, August and

September can be interesting. I think, look, it was a good move.

The fans want this.

I think the bottom line is, look at the fan reaction.

They are excited.

Now, at the time, everyone was a little confused.
