Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Tuesday edition of the yard.

Took the holiday yesterday like many of you. I'll be honest with you. I told you guys last week, I was headed back home, having a birthday weekend, and spent some time on the Mighty Pearl River down to Marion County.

Saw some people I hadn't seen in about 30

years. It was great. Saw some folks I graduated high school with. Many of them look exactly the same.

I don't. I'm okay. I wear it well. But it was great. It's always good to go back and see people.

You know, it's so great to be able to go back and see people

that were very important to you at one point in your life, and in some way they still carry

some level of importance, maybe not quite as significant now, but it was good. Now, I'll tell you

this, I'm not the, I'm not the river rat I used to be. You know, used to, I go out there and stay all weekend and not feel the impact of it.

But, you know, being out in that sun and all that activity out there, I don't even drink anymore.

My goodness, but maybe that helped, right? I don't know.

But I tell you this, when I got home to Starville, Mississippi on Sunday,

I was ready to go to bed. So I did. It's crazy too, you know, how life works. I went down there

with no plan other than see my friends. Didn't book a room, didn't bring my camping gear,

probably should have, could have camped down on the riverbanks like I used two years ago.

Probably in hindsight, that's probably what I should have done,

but had a newer friend from my hometown,

invite me to come stay at their place and slip on the couch,

which is always great when you're six two,

but I appreciated having somewhere nice

to lay my head with the air condition blowing. So we had a good time. We did. Got home, and internet connectivity at the Robertson

residence is not working. So I got a service guy coming out on Wednesday, so I'm going to
