0:12.4	introduction to a prayer call that was conducted today. Today is February the 20th. It's
0:18.8	about 6 p.m. here in New York and I basically just got off this prayer call about 25 minutes ago. And it was quite a charged time in the presence of the Lord. This was supposed to be a time just of praising God. So to those of you who may not understand the importance of praise and prayer, praise is a completely separate type of prayer that you can do without asking God for anything.
0:44.2	This is where you come before the Lord to give him thanks.
0:46.9	This is where you come before the Lord to lift him up.
0:49.4	You come before the Lord to bless him.
0:53.5	You've come to celebrate who he is.
0:55.6	This is where you go to places like Psalm 100, Psalm 103, Psalm 104,
1:00.5	and you're remembering the magnificence of God, his creating gifts, his supernatural power,
1:06.7	the way he opens doors for those that he calls his children.
1:11.4	Praise is an essential part of a Christian's life
1:15.2	because praise can actually function as a whole separate protection for a believer.
1:22.3	And so this prayer call today was not to ask God for anything.
1:26.3	It was not to seek the Lord for anything. It was not to
1:29.3	pray about any particular topic. It was simply to say, Heavenly Father, we see you. Open our eyes
1:36.3	that we can behold you more. We see what you're doing in our lives. We see what you're doing in the
1:40.4	Master's Voice, Prophecy, blog, ministry. We see what you're doing in the world today it's
1:45.8	difficult it's dark but we believe that you are the brightness of everything but this this call went
1:53.4	way way way off road talk about leaving the flat tarred road and finding yourself off in the forest.
2:04.0	It was really something because when you're praising God, it's high temperature prayer.
2:09.0	You're not sitting there and saying, oh God, we behold you and you're so wonderful.
