Summary

As much as we may desire to live with eternal purpose and become more like Christ, some days we’re doing well just to keep the diapers changed—much less figure out how we can change. In this episode, Emily and Laura get practical about how we change into the image of Christ. Drawing from David Powlison’s book, How Does Sanctification Work?, they unpack five things that contribute to our growth in godliness. God is changing us and using our lives for something that matters as we live faithfully from one moment (or diaper change) to the next.

1:19.8	Speaking of the season, I'm here to remind you just in case you missed us mentioning it, we recorded this episode prior to coronavirus's widespread impact.
1:28.8	So today, we're diving into part two of a two part episode on sanctification.
1:32.8	And we know all of us are being sanctified by the virus and its effects, right?
1:36.8	We have school closures, stay home orders, loss of routines, events, celebrations, job losses, changes, the craziness at grocery stores.
1:44.8	There are a lot of things that are sanctifying us right now.
1:47.8	And as we were prepping to release this show, we felt like it'd be really important for us to let you know that this was recorded before coronavirus, which is why we didn't include something that should so obviously be a part of our discussion.
