Summer sales spectacular.

So many sales all over the place.

But are they good sales, Lisa? Did you buy anything?

Oh, I'm out of money. I'm all out of money. Yep. Did you buy anything?

I bought zero. Oh, you're a way better person than I am.

Oh, this is not about being a good person or not. This is about frustration levels where I

decided to be like, damn it, not messing with this anymore. Oh, so you didn't spend any money

because you got so many error pages that you gave up. Girl, let's just get right into this because

so much has happened within retail on the past 48 hours. What's going on?

Well, Amazon Prime Day happened. Instead of one day of sale, it was a day and a half of sales.

And it did not come without its struggles on multiple levels. The first issue was that the website

kind of conked out on us. Either you got stuck in a loop where you couldn't see any deals or you kept getting

error pages that had cute little dogs on them. Which was cute the first eight times.

Amazon was pretty smart about putting those dogs up there as the error page because you

would be frustrated, you'd be angry, but then you'd see a cute dog and then how angry could you get?

Right?

And those cute dogs are not new for Amazon's error pages, but you just so infrequently get one of those that during Prime Day it was suddenly a thing people were noticing.

So Amazon was having some technical issues that I thought would be over with within

the first hour or two of Prime Day. That was not the case. I was still getting errors today,
