than normal today this morning was media day for the college football playoff championship here

in new orleans and i got a bunch of audio that I wanted to share with you guys. There's no

real easy way to do this. There's a lot of audio. First, you can probably hear in the background.

There's like music playing. I'm actually recording up in the hospitality room. And one of the

things that you'll find about, about playoff weekend, championship weekend in new orleans there aren't very

many quiet places it's very loud everywhere it's loud in my hotel room it's uh it's loud in the lobby

it's loud pretty much everywhere in new Orleans right now because people are gearing up for this game

so um this is a an episode that is not going to be necessarily studio quality, if you will. The hospitality room was literally

the quietest place that I could find. So I'm sitting up here with a beautiful view of the Mississippi

River from the top of the Marriott. The bend in the river looks beautiful. I'll see the river

boats. It's a great view. And I'm excited about this episode. The way that I want to approach it,

I think I have I have four one-on-one interviews with some of the players at the end. I got Derek Stingley. I got Christian Fulton. I got Terrace Marshall. I got Mo Hampton. So I got some mixture of guys there with one-on-one interviews. I'm going to save those for the end. They're not very long. They're about two and a half minutes each. I'll play those at the end, and I'll kind of start the show and connect this point of the show to that point of the show with a bunch of sound bites, because there's a bunch of really good sound bites from Media Day. And a lot of people with Media Day, they take the kind of silly approach, the fun approach. There's lots of, like, fun videos of Media Day, which really is what Media Day should be about. I didn't necessarily take that approach. It's more football and news topics, I think, that you'll hear. So for some of the more fun stuff, like we put out a bunch of stuff at LSU Football Twitter account, there's a lot of good stuff out there.

This is going to be more focused on the game, the matchup, and some of the news items.

So I think I'll start with Dave Oranda, mostly because I was the first person I talked to.

But second, because Dave, you know, we don't get to talk to the coordinators a ton in the media.

I get a little bit more access to some of the assistant coaches.

But Dave is just such an interesting guy to talk to, especially with this game.
