We are bringing you some reaction from the championship playoff final from Wembley.

seasons in the championship. They were last seasons losing finalists. So they've exercised

some demons there as well. On March the first

this year, Aston Villa were 12th in the championship and eight points of the

playoffs and an amazing runner form, saw them punch their way in and head into the

playoffs as one of the favourites to win it, if not the favourites to win it, which is exactly

what they've done.

But it hasn't been easy.

And George, today against Derby, did you feel like Aston Villa were the rightful

winners of the playoff final?

Yeah, I did.

What I would say, and part of this will be to do with Game State, I thought probably the best

team spell of the game is probably a 10-minute spell by Derby at 2-0-down once they had

Marriott and Waghorn on but we'll get to that in terms of the game itself I thought that

villa didn't have to do a great deal to be the best team on the day at times they were fairly

sloppy some poor individual performances especially from Jack Grealish were disappointing but at the

same time even when they weren't really at their best, they were still creating the better chances.

They still took their chances and Derby were just wholly disappointing and not particularly surprising the

Derby that we saw turned up where they, until they made the changes in terms of personnel off the bench,
