Summary

Right now, we're about halfway through Greg Chalmer's first season on the PGA Champions Tour. In this episode, he and Lou and Mark recap the season thus far. In addition, they talk about Greg's road ahead: what he needs to do the remainder of the season to secure status on the Champions Tour next year, so that he won't have to keep qualifying into tournaments (though he's been doing that really well).

Right, Greg, Yoladers, mount up. It's recap time. Greg, we're kind of midway-ish through the season. Greg's played one of the two majors on the seniors tour, two to come that he is playing in. I'm getting lots of questions from viewers and people I see out at golf courses. And in the street, Greg, I even come up to me and ask, how do you become a Gregulator? Where's the form? What's the monthly fee?

1:08.7

if you're not already there yeah so basically the way it works is the top 36 players at the end of the season

1:15.6

are the ones who are fully exempt and get whatever they want the following year.

1:21.0

Top 36?

1:22.4

Top 36.

1:23.7

So currently on 23rd on the I believe it's called the Schwab Cup money slash points list.

1:31.9

So yeah, currently on 23rd.

1:34.3

And so the biggest thing is just opportunities because obviously with no cut, if you're not playing, you get trampled pretty quickly.

1:42.6

And that's sort of happened a couple of times I've been doing really well
