Hello, everybody, and welcome to the Total Soccer Show.

My name is Taylor Rockwell, and we've got Champions League to discuss.

To do so, I'm joined by two fine fellows, one of whom is not Ryan Bailey.

Ryan Bailey, I believe, is recovering, getting ready for a marathon, traveling, being a

globe trotter, such as he is. Instead, I've got a man who has never had drinks thrown at him,

at least not in his daily life. It's Graham Ruthfin. Hi, Graham. Hello, I thought you're going

to say a man who has never trotted the globe, which would be pretty accurate, certainly in the last

three years. I barely leave my house now. Well, I think that's kind of, like there's a global

pandemic that has some responsibility for that, because Graham, whenever we talk about a stadium or a

random town in a random country, you're like, oh yeah, I was there briefly. I got a shirt from there.

I feel like you've traveled much more than you're letting on. That's probably true, but not in the last three years. That's why

I always reference my trip to Portland because that was literally the last place I went. That wasn't

my house or my garden or the supermarket. It's an event full-time for Graham Rutherland.

Have you had any drinks thrown at you in your house or a garden?

Because then you do have some commonality with Diego Simeone.

I feel like my wife has got to have done that at some point.

Yeah, that's definitely happened.

Like the third time you wore a soccer kit out instead of, like, formal attire for an event?

Is that when you got a drink thrown at you?

Yeah. I'm not sure it was like a full, like, a cardboard cup of Coke as Simeone was getting thrown at him.

But maybe, who knows? Maybe that was my wife's choice of ammunition. I feel like I'm going to have to go back to the Simeone Cups throwing at him conversation. Because I have so many more thoughts, so many more questions for you, Graham. But first, we should introduce our third co-host with us, a man who I'm assuming is in some form of mourning after Iax were knocked out. Joe Lowry, do you have a black armband on? Are you wearing all black? How are you sort of mourning the departure of IACS from the Champions League? Taylor, I'm still just grasping at straws trying to figure out how to mourn. Between IACs and how CCO went last night on Wednesday night, March 16th, things are wild right now. soccer and, and I'll say this later, and I will say it again, just in the spirit of redundancy. Soccer is cruel, guys, soccer is cruel. Podcasting, hopefully, less cruel. I really hope that Joe has never finished a recording session, and then Cambers caught him saying what Bruce Arena said about his players during the penalty shootout. If so, Joe, I apologize.
