Welcome back to the latest edition of the Audible,

I'm Bruce Feldman, joined as always by my colleagues from The Athletic.

Ralph Russo, Ralph, our other colleague, Stuart Mandel, smiling face there,

had a milestone birthday over the weekend. He

turned the not so big 5-0. Happy birthday to you, Stu. I got to ask, Ralph, you owe an apology

right out of the gate, don't you? I do. I do. I'm a bad friend. I've established this. I mean, I don't know if I've established

it as well with you guys as I have with some of my other friends who have known me a little longer

outside of work, but I am a bad friend. Stu's lovely wife reached out to a lot of his friends, asking for little videos to be sent to

her, just wishing Stu a happy birthday, you know, nothing too much, a couple of seconds of,

hey, it's been great knowing you. You're the best. Thank you. So happy for you. Yeah, you're owned it yourself right there. Yeah, exactly. So this is me doing the video. This is me doing the video. It's been so cool getting to work with you after all these years of knowing you. You're the best, Stu, one of my favorites of all time. But the thing is,

I forgot to send the video to Stu's wife. So I blew it. I blew the big gift that she was

trying to put together for Stu. Anyway, Stu, I hope you had a good birthday regardless. I'm sure

you did. Yeah, I mean, my wife went really all out.

And that video, which was about a 25-minute video, I mean, it was like, this is your life.

It had people from all eras going back to high school.

People on my softball team in New York 20 years ago.

And, you know, Bruce was on there. Jill Thaw, our editor, was on there. And Lindsay, I think Lindsay may have taken the cake because she did hers from

the Olympics as the Olympic rings were right behind her. So no worries, Ralph. I'm not somebody who's

like, you forgot my birthday. I don't care. Our colleague, Lindsay Schnell,

managed to squeeze it in from the Olympics yet I couldn't do it from my parents' house in Florida

last week. Just terrible. But anyway, do you feel any difference, Stu? Do you feel older? Do you feel
