Welcome back. It's Beyond the Box Score. I'm Dan Schneier. That's Jacob Gibbs. He's back, baby.

Taking a little bit of a week to decompress. It's that time of the year. The draft has happened.

We're not done, though, here at Beyond the Box Score. We will be moving to recording just once a week in the month of May, obviously May, probably the slowest month in the fantasy football calendar. But then June comes along, July and soon before we know it, Jacob, we're going to be in ranking season. We're going to be in sleepers, breakouts, bus season. We're going to be in the full redraft thick of it.

So I'm excited for that.

But for now, we're here to talk Dynasty because that's what's on everyone's mind in the month of May. We're going to talk about a few players from a dynasty standpoint that look a little bit different in your rankings than the rest of people's rankings. We're going to talk about why on today's show. So I'm excited to do all that. But before I do all that, Jacob, first of all, I must say, I like wherever you are with that chief background, that chief flag back there, looks good. And like 17 computer monitors in that room. And I want to know how you doing it and how your vacation was. i'm great man yeah good to be good to be back

going to be talking uh also good to get away from football a little bit i don't i think that you

texted me at some point i was like bro i'm not i'm not thinking about football at all like i'm

literally so i have no idea what's going on so went on like a flow trip went on some hikes

spend some time out like in the woods out out here. And where the heck am I?

West Virginia.

I'm in this weird little panhandle of West Virginia where it's like an hour to go to like four different states.

So I keep having a hard time keeping track where I'm at.

I went to D.C. that was really fun.

And yeah, I'm in my buddy's place here,

and he is a Beyond the Box Corps fan,

which is cool.

That's awesome. He gets to hear the live show from another room. If he's around, you might be working. I don't know. But there was a point during Jacob's trip. I actually took my own, not vacation, but a little weekend trip to Maryland this past weekend golf trip with the boys.

There was a point where Jacob and I were like,

can we possibly intersect my way back

up to Jersey and Jacobs, wherever way he is and have a dinner out here, which would have

been funny because I would have picked the most random place ever if we were able to do it,

but we weren't able to pull it off. Either way, happy to hear you got a chance that that you can press. Hiking is low-key, one of my underrated favorite things to do.
