Well, I'm a stainless steel gal myself, but you're not alone in wondering if that look has sort of peaked.

Of course, the easiest option is to replace the appliances with new ones in a different style or maybe a color.

Maybe that retro mint green that was popular when you peaked. You don't want to shell out for new stuff. You might be S-O-L.

Of course, that is unless you're open to wallpapering the existing appliances with your best den for post columns.

It's a sort of poppy A-mashay style covering that would certainly be on brand for a lifetime newspaper man like yourself.

Or, and this is my vote, get that sticky back chalkboard paper and then line the appliances with that and that would allow you

and your loved ones, friends, family, your lady friend to cover your kitchen with their own chalkboard widdicisms.

Bonuses, you could stop stealing those chalkboard widdicisms from all the dad joke books that you buy instead just steal them from your friends and family.

I kid, I kid, of course, all the stuff on your chalkboard is 100% yours.

He was a columnist for the Denver Post for 35 years currently writes for the Gazette out of Colorado Springs.

He is both the winningest and losingest panelists ever on around the horn.

And he claims to have attended over 10,000 sporting events in typical woody page fashion.
